The second in a series of five large Document Migration projects was successfully completed by Metadocs. All five projects deal with the migration of millions of scanned and electronic documents, from legacy Document Management systems residing in the bank’s IT infrastructure to the new ECM Platform of the Bank.

Apart from Credit and Private Banking Units, for which the projects have already concluded, Metadocs are currently running three more projects (GLA, Small Banking, Eurobank Leasing) in co-operation with Eurobank.

The outcome of all five projects will be the migration of more than six million documents along with their indexing information (metadata) to the bank’s ECM platform, which will ensure the safe transition of critical information files from different installations to Eurobank’s newest ECM system.
