MetaDocs Ltd built the Astris Mobile app as a Commercial app. This app and the website are provided by MetaDocs Ltd and are intended for use as is. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.
Astris Mobile is not a cloud service
Astris Mobile is not cloud-based. It stores no account passwords on the actual device. It only connects to the private Astris servers of your organisation. It only holds messages you choose to download on the device. Astris Mobile never passes user logins to MetaDoc,s and MetaDocs has no access to that information. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with what we collect is used to provide and improve. If you choose to use our app, you agree to collect and use information about this policy.
What information do we request from users, and for what purpose?
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we collect via the Application is your corporate e-mail address and any other information you provide to us directly. We may also collect any communications or customer support calls between you and the Company.
Information Request and Use
We use the OAuth open authorisation service from Microsoft. The App authenticates your identity and allows you to share certain information with us, including your name and email address. We only communicate with Microsoft servers through their API and its OAuth protocol and never store any of your data on our servers or other storage. You can revoke access at any time. When you log into your Microsoft accounts through Astris Mobile, you are granting permission to Astris Mobile to access the information associated with those accounts securely. You are also providing your email address by logging into the application. We may keep the email address when you correspond with us for future reference.
Log Data
We inform you that whenever you use our app, in a case of an error in the app, we collect data and information on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your email addresses, device type, model, operating system version, the app’s configuration when utilising our app, the time and date of your use of the app, and other statistics.
Security
Your privacy and security are essential to us. Astris Mobile complies with industry-standard security practices to protect your data. Astris Mobile uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and other encryption technology, such as AES 256, to protect your data where applicable.
Customer Support Data
Astris Mobile may contain an email address to receive the customer’s general questions and suggestions. We will not use your contact information for anything other than providing customer support for the Astris Mobile emails.

If we are involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. In any of these events, you will be notified via email or a prominent notice on our website of any changes in ownership or uses of your information and any choices you may have regarding your personal information. We may need to share data and statistics about using Astris Mobile with third parties, including investors. In that case, all information will be aggregated and stripped of any personally identifiable information.
